Introduction. Japan Kafka Stone Age - What became of my dreams

Introduction
What this website is all about
Dream and Reality: an age-old theme to which I bring my own experiences in very different fields (Kafka, Japan, religion, the Stone Age).
The result is a colourful mosaic, but in retrospect - often surprising - connections appear, revealing profound human experiences and insights that never cease to fascinate and where one is sometimes even inclined to use terms like wisdom or mystery.
It was experiences in Japan that gave me a completely new approach to Kafka, and conversely Kafka's texts led me to a deeper understanding of phenomena in Japan. (Which at the same time gives an idea of the immense breadth and depth of Kafka's insights into the human psyche, his "dreamlike inner life").
Japan is often stylised and dreamed of as a counter-world to Europe. But the real Japan is far more complex, fascinating and often even more wonderful than such dreams - if one does not allow prejudices to cloud one's view. There are even almost unbelievable similarities, such as in religion, with the "founder" of the largest Buddhist school in Japan, Shinran, who - in a Buddhist context! - emphasised salvation by faith alone even before Luther, thus enabling people in Japan to experience a new sense of personal freedom to this day.
A special chapter is my Stone Age dreams, which have developed out of mostly accidental finds of strangely shaped stones, and which continue to fascinate me, although I am still not sure where the boundary between fantasy and reality lies in this case.
I would like to present these and similar topics here bit by bit and reflect on them with anyone who is interested.
